Future Ruhr was mixed in 3rd order Ambisonics.
At the Jena Fulldome Festival 17th edition Future Ruhr won two prizes: Innovation & Creativity and Spatial Audio.
The film was shown in several planetarium; Jena, Bochum and Plymouth have special configuration that need a specific decoder. In this link the ICST decoder created for each configuration is available. It can be used with other decoders too.

Ambisonics Afternoon are songs played by musician in their own environment. The songs are recorded by an ambisonics microphone and a 360 camera. If you watch the video in a mobile phone, you should use the YouTube app to see and hear the video properly. 1- Hard Time Orchestra. If you move your mobile phone or drag the image in the browser, you will find the FOH where the PA mixer is. There I am panning with my mobile phone the sounds. In the short video (left) I am moving a sound effect made by the musician that sounds like a wind. In the longer video (right) I am panning a long delay applied to the voice. The sound was recorded with an Ambisonics microphone and there is no further process to the signal. The sound system had 11 speakers around the audience.

ISSP - Immersive Sound System Panning - Version 2

ISSP is a software application where you can pan the sound sources into a multichannel speaker set up. You can use up to 56 input and 24 output channels. The app can work with different audio protocols and there is no need to have a specific mixer. Several tools to control the sound source position are available like joysticks (Arduino), Gyroscope and a monitor screen.
The above picture was a show in Argentina with 56 channels and 12 outputs. The system had 7 line arrays at the front and 2 more at the back.

ISSP Version 1: This app version can control a DiGiCo mixer to pan the sound sources into a multichannel speaker set up. The app was tested at DiGiCo headquarter in London (See picture)

Ambisonics mixer: A virtual mixer was built in Max/MSP to convert mono sources into B-Format and control the sounds in 3D with a mobile phone with gyroscope. There are 2 versions of the app: The first one is to work with sound recorded tracks and the second one can work with live sounds. The app can store the 3D path of each channel.

Photoliptophone: It is an Argentine invention that records and reproduces sounds on plain paper. It was invented around 1930. We found more than 20 talking paper, we digitalized them to recover the original and unpublished songs.
